To the owner... Do everyone a favor and close this DUMP!
I drove a half hour to Bartlesville. I would have drove another 1000 miles to not stay at that place. I would have slept in my car, or a cardboard box before that place. I can't believe the health department would keep a place like this open. I got my money back and high tailed it out of there. I'm not picky, regularly staying in cheap motels and Motel 6's, but I could not stomach this place. If it's not already condemned by the time you go to stay there, I suggest you don't. The sad thing was, there was 3 other cars in the parking lot. Did they just break down (they were old beaters) or did those people really stay there? I suppose if you are wasted, on some drugs, this might be a place to score some more drugs or a prostitute. I wasn't looking for that, however.

I have stayed in some crap box motels in my life, but never have I seen anything like this! Shower was disgusting and there was no knob to turn the cold water on. No remote for TV, stained carpet, no outlet covers, Dirt dauber nest attached to the inside of the front door, dirt in the corner of every wall, stained curtains, no smoke detectors, no dead bolt or chain to even lock the door and the owners couldn't understand English. Why in the heck are they allowed to run a business is beyond me. I notice that someone rated this motel 4 years ago and nothing has changed much. There were 3 old cars there and 2 of them had flats. It would probably be safer staying at a Bates Motel than to stay at this creepy, nasty dump!
I saw a review of the other motel in town, the Black Gold and one review said it was akin to a cheap Turkish prison. If that's true, this place is the solitary cell for the people in the cheap Turkish prison. There are only two in town, so I stopped in, paid the wierd guy that couldn't speak much english the cash he requested as he didn't take cards or checks...(yes, there are people that still don't take credit cards) From the outside, I should have been tipped off but I opened the door, reluctantly... It was bad, really bad. The carpets were stained, dirty, and there was an odd smell. The bathroom was awful, dirty, and the toilet wasn't even hooked to the floor. The bathtub was so disgusting, I would not step foot in it without probably getting some fungi. I decided to check the beds, just in case I decided to go through with a night in this prison. The bed was dirty and there were yellow stains on the sheets. There was dirt in the bed and then...a bed bug. Then another. I threw the tiny, emaciated pillow down and told my friend I am not staying here with these bugs.
There is no option to give this a big fat ZERO rating so I apologize for the 1 Star that is not even deserved.
