Awesome food. Very reasonable, owner gave grandson free dip of ice cream. Service was great. NO WAITING! Line @ mercantile was very long.
Great atmosphere and good food! I see a lot of people complaining of long wait times. They were pretty busy when we were there but still got our food in a reasonable amount of time. great burgers and I had the Thadius Chicken. Very tasty and different! Best food on the block!
They have the best hamburgers. I don't know where their meat comes from. it it tastes like hamburgers I used to get when I was growing up as a kid. I highly recommend this place
If you didn't want to wait 2 to 3 hours to eat at The Mercantile, this place is about a block down on same side. The prices were great. Our service was great and the food we ordered was really good! I had the Chicago hot dog and it was delicious. Also fantastic were the deep fried pickles. One day I may just take the 2.5 hour trip, each way, just for that. Yes we may have had to wait a bit for our food as it was lunch time. The server did tell us that up front though. Was worth the wait in my personal opinion.
Great place to grab some awesome food, the portion were overwhelming and services were also great. The atmosphere of the establishment was really unique. I suggest that you have to try this place, if you haven't been. I can't stress enough how the staff keep coming to are table to make sure that everything was to are satisfaction.
